Darto's Restaurant

Passing through Pennsylvania, staying across the street at the Hyatt, they recommend this small little place. Loved it, the small “mom and pop” places are the best. Food was delicious, prices were more than fair, and the lady who took care of us was as sweet as can be! I recommend this place!

One of the best breakfast and lunch spots in the Lehigh Valley!

Good spot for a quick bite (if you can find street parking)or sit down breakfast, there are public lots close by if you have the time. I enjoy the breakfast sandwiches serviced on a toasted roll (porkroll is the meat to try if your visiting from outside or the area). The egg sandwiches remind me of living in New York City; and similar to the New York egg sandwiches, they somehow taste better wrapped in paper and eaten on the go. Service is good, friendly and normally quick. Darto's is a neighborhood joint so the decor is unremarkable and you won't miss anything if you take your food to go.

Dartos is the place to go especially for the best service, food and Chocolate chip pancakes.

Great little breakfast and lunch spot in north side Bethlehem. It can get crowded quick so you might have to wait a few minutes for a seat. But the staff are fast and caring. The food was excellent and for the price you just can’t beat it. My grief friend got banana pancakes with home fries and bacon. She loved it. I had a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich with home fries. It was perfect. A lot of egg on the sandwich. Thick slices of pork roll. Will definitely return.

I used to be a fan of this place and unfortunately that changed today. I work at an establishment nearby and my coworkers and I like getting breakfast/lunch here because it is close and cheap and decent. However today I went to order lunch at 1:00 sharp and the website said they were open until 1:30. I called about 10 times and finally got through to someone that told me that they stop taking phone calls at 1:15. I explained to her that I started my phone calls at 1pm sharp and I was standing outside of the restaurant and could clearly hear the phone being ignored. I understand starting to shut down early, but according to the times she stated, I could have easily gotten my lunch. And really, this restaurant does not cook anythingggg that is difficult whatsoever. You lost both myself and my coworkers today as well as everyone that we recommend to the establishment and that really sucks. Try doing better! my coworker also got ill from a chicken wrap here the other day, yikes

I was in town for work and was staying at the Hyatt Place across the street. This place was incredible! From its quaint look, to the incredible servings of food to the incredible low prices, I hope I get the chance to come back. I woke up the day after I left Bethlehem wanting a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich from Dartos. This place is that good.

Classic breakfast done well. Solid omelettes and tasty thinly sliced home fries. I add onion, tomatoes, and hot banana peppers to my potatoes. The only disappointment is their coffee. It's like drinking dirty water...

This place is a hidden gem because its unlike any other breakfast / lunch joint. Even bethlehem locals arent aware of Darto's , its been a well kept secret to maintain menu prices like it was 1990 . The place is kind of like Rosanne's living room and the waitresses are nice and won't punch you repeatedly . Also , breakfast sandwiches are like 3 bucks and big . pork roll egg and cheese , like the Ween song . This breakfast sandwich was listed on Allentown / Bethlehem's BEST SANDWICH LIST in 2019 for a PA food review site . Thats prestige you common peasant. Great food and atmosphere

I went there a couple of days ago for the first time and got a cup of soup and a tuna sandwich to go. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly I don't. When I took the first bite of my sandwich something tasted funny. As I put the sandwich back down the slice of tomato that was on there slid off and fell on my plate. As I picked it up to put it back on my sandwich, I quickly found the reason for the funny tasted. The entire tomato slice was molded on the bottom. Something like that only happens when you pre slice and store them for several days at a time. I was so grossed out that I threw the whole sandwich away including the soup. I couldn't even get myself to eat the soup at this point since I was now concerned about the quality and freshness of it. Sadly, this was my first and will be my last time that I tried this place.

Good food cheap price

This is the best home cooking in town and the prices are incredibly fair. Missy and Laura are such great servers. They really make me feel at home when I visit. Hat's off to y'all. Can't wait to eat here again!

Excellent choice for breakfast. Very tasty and very affordable. The pancakes are thin like I like them and sausage links are meaty. Unfortunately they only have creamed chopped beef on Wed and Sat and I keep showing up off days. Looking forward to trying it.

Waitress wasn't at all friendly. I got a bacon and egg on rye. The rye was good. Would of been better with a little more butter. The egg, was like paper thin. The bacon was good but skimpy. The coffee was hot but had way too much sugar in it. I would suggest going a few blocks down the road and finding a different spot.

The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is exceptional. Always treated with respect.

I had been craving Denny's all week long and was finally ready to go on Saturday morning, but then a friend came to my rescue and took me to Darto's instead. Considering the price for my Western Omelette, how fast it was made and served, how great and fresh it tasted, and the enormous size of the portions, it is EASILY the best breakfast I've had since I've been living in Pennsylvania.So long, Denny's!

Classic American diner food. But fast, ridiculously fast! Their turkey club is made with REAL carved turkey breast. Not some lunch meat stuff. Best Ever Turkey Club!
